Four C's of Diamond
  • Cut - A diamonds brilliance depends on the way it is cut. An ideal cut is the best way a diamond can be cut. Shallow cut shows the diamonds larger than they are supposed to be and deep cut diamonds weigh more. Ideal cut is a balance between weight and look and makes the diamond more valuable because of its brilliance.

  • Color - Diamonds are graded from colorless to yellow. Letters are used to grade diamonds D being the highest and Z being a yellow color.

  • Clarity - Clarity is graded from Flawless to Imperfect. Flawless diamonds a very rare and more expensive. Small imperfections in the diamonds are called inclusions. The quantity, size and location of these inclusions partly determine the value of a diamond.

  • Carat - The weight of a diamond is called carat. The larger the carat weight the rarer the diamond and makes it more valuable.

  • What Makes Diamonds So Special
Diamonds are valuable because they are RARE in nature and it takes a very very very long time to form. Being one of the strongest substance on earth makes it ETERNAL. They are so hard that the only way to cut a diamond is with another diamond.
